The project
A recovery plan for a construction project already underway, to support the planned school opening and give the owner alternative solutions.
What we did
The engagement brought experienced professionals in project planning, project execution, procurement law and practice, labor relations with the local building trades, drone surveys, and our own digital system for earned-value based project controls.
How we handled it
The team built a recovery plan with several options to complete the construction scope and support the planned opening, including plans for different levels of contractor cooperation. The baseline assessment covered the existing documents, site visits, a field survey of existing conditions and a full report with earned value analysis.
Results
- True status assessed and a new baseline set
- More than a month recovered on the contractor’s schedule
- The building opened in September 2025
