Early front-end planning for a new process to make a low global warming potential product used in a near drop-in replacement for HFC-245fa refrigerant.

Front-end planning, scheduling, analysis of how similar projects had trended worldwide, and a full execution plan for engineering design and construction.
How we handled it
Executrek’s analyses supported a recommendation to senior stakeholders to put the project on hold instead of continuing to spend capital. A second analysis of the alternatives reached a similar recommendation.
